Read the information below and view the example shown. Then get an index card from your teacher and complete your book review:

1.  Write the name of your book at the top left of your card.
2.  Write the name of the author underneath the title.
3.  Skip at least one line and write a few sentences that tell what the book is about.
4.  Now explain why you liked the book and why someone else should read it.
5.  Show your finished card to your teacher.
6.  Get your photo from your teacher.
7.  Remove the paper from the back of your photo to reveal the adhesive, then carefully place your photo on the right side of your card leaving enough room above the photo to write Reviewed by:
8.  Now write Reviewed by:   above your photo.
9.  Write your first and last name below the photo.

10. IF star stickers are available, then at the bottom right of your card, rate your book from one to three stars, three being the top score. If star stickers are not available, use a marker and draw stars in the appropriate place on your card.
11.  Turn in your card in the designated place.

Write a few sentences here about what your book is about.  Be sure to include setting, main characters, plot, and a few details about the story.

Now tell why you liked this book.  Have at least one reason and use details to make your reason clear. Explain how this book made you feel or how you felt about the characters.  How did you relate to the story?  Why is this a book that you like?  Why should someone else read this book?  (No misspellings!)
